Lesson on pronouncing the short i

Listen to the song the hear to difference between /i/ /I/

Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble?

Did you feel the mountains tremble?
Did you hear the oceans roar?
When the people rose to sing of
Jesus Christ the risen one

Did you feel the people tremble?
Did you hear the singers roar?
When the lost began to sing of
Jesus Christ the risen one

And we can see that God you're moving
A mighty river through the nations
And young and old will turn to Jesus
Fling wide your heavenly gates
Prepare the way of the risen Lord

Open up the doors and let the music play
Let the streets resound with singing
Songs that bring Your hope
Songs that bring Your joy
Dancers who dance upon injustice

Did you feel the darkness tremble?
When all the saints join in one song
And all the streams flow as one river
To wash away our brokenness

And here we see that God you're moving
A time of Jubilee is coming
When young and old return to Jesus
Fling
wide your heavenly gates
Prepare the way of the risen Lord

Lesson on Numbers

Directions: You will be using page 43 of your lesson to complete these exercises.

Write the score of 14 to zero using another word for the word zero (See page 43).

How many ways can you say the number 103 in writing?

What is this number in written form (word form) 43/56? (See page 43)

Let's practice with the words Celcius and Centigrade which basically have the same meaning. If your house is -25реж Celcius (Sell-see-us)
it is negative twenty-five degrees Centigrade (Sen-ti-grayde) and that is freezing!

Go to http://www.uiowa.edu/~acadtech/phonetics/english/frameset.html
1. Click the word "monophthongs".
2. Click the word "front".
2. Finally, press the symbol "I" and practice saying this vowel sound with the video. It is the one with which you struggled a little.
